About this Article

World Policy Analysis: Food Insecurity in Yemen and Burundi

This article was initially written as the final project paper in a course taught by Prof. Carolyn Heinrich namely International Education and Economic Development.

This paper is trying to seek information in regards to these two following questions:

What are the contributing factors to Yemen and   Burundi’s current food insecurity status, and what are the effects of such factors on society?

These two countries were chosen only because of their low ranking in 2018 Global Food Security Index but also because of the humanitarian crisis that is taking place, especially in Yemen.

I wrote a blog about my scholarship journey securing Fulbright Scholarship, a fully-funded scholarship from the US Department of State at Vanderbilt University majoring in International Education Policy and Management. On that blog, I also shared some of the tips through my journey securing some other scholarships abroad such as Chevening Scholarship to UK and Australia Awards Scholarship.
